The Sanctuary For Mind, Body & Spirit welcomed about 30 guests at its Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony held on Wednesday, April 7 in western Lake Worth.
Mary Lou Bedford of the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce; Maria Antuña of the PBC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and Ann Marie Sorrell, supervisor of the PB Soil & Water Conservation District were present to welcome The Sanctuary to the neighborhood. Richard Jankus of Woodstock Financial Group served as emcee.
“As a small business owner, the amount of community support we had for our first day of business was wonderful,” said Sheila Zayas, founder and healer at The Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary is located at 8461 Lake Worth Road, Suite 239.
It offers a safe place for people to relax, restore, find balance, and peace. Services are by appointment and include reiki, crystal therapy, breathwork, and guided meditation.
“Now more than ever, people are looking for a way to release stress and are becoming more aware of their inner self,” said Zayas. “We offer a natural way for them to let go of the constant distractions of social media, news, and phone apps.”
The Sanctuary also has events that further support people in regaining their balance and hitting the reset button.
